“My work is about playing with space —

a balancing act of imagery and ideas, plans with mistakes, spontaneity vs. control, while gravity is ever present.

I like to physically walk into my sculptures and visually enter my paintings. Large-scale site-specific sculptures are most enjoyably challenging. My studio work is often in-progress — person-size paintings, sculpture, smaller 3D constructions, watercolors, maquettes, papier-mache and other serious play.

My goal is to make sculptures and paintings that are exhilarating for me and the viewer to experience.”
