Papier Pulp
I have spent many years teaching Junior High, High School, College and young ones — as well as groups in hospital Psych Units and extended care units.
Early Teens are perhaps my favorite ages to teach. They live somewhere between exhilaration and fear, courage and awkwardness. This is the perfect time to let loose with art supplies; watercolors, acrylics, freedom to interpret with abstraction or to tackle the exact. Papier mâché is a wonderful medium for this age group — and it rubs off on me. I love to give demonstrations. Papier mâché lets you be yourself no matter what. Paper mâché has lead me to work with paper pulp.
